The cold water tank is a commonly used energy storage device in the water storage central air conditioning system. It can store cold and heat. It can be divided into an open water storage tank for water cooling and a closed water storage cold water tank for data centers in terms of pressure bearing methods and application methods. The open cold storage tank is mainly customized on-site according to the terminal load and site, while the cold storage tank of the data center is more of an emergency cold source reserved according to the needs of redundant disasters. Multiple closed cold storage tanks of the same volume are used to support redundant disasters. The cold source cold storage tank of the required load. As shown in the figure below:

1. Open storage tank (cold storage and thermal storage)

Open-type energy storage (water cold storage and water thermal storage) water tanks are mainly used for energy saving and cost saving in new construction and renovation projects for shifting peaks and valleys, and are widely used in large public buildings, industrial parks, industrial plants and other fields.

2. Special water storage tank for data center:

According to the industry standard GB50174-2008 issued by the People's Republic of China, the data center needs to provide corresponding emergency cold sources for redundant disasters, and the cold storage tank equipment of the data center needs to provide sufficient supply under the premise of ensuring safety. Emergency cooling sources required to support data center loads. The cold storage tank equipment has the characteristics of closed pressure, multiple, ready-to-use and so on. The cold storage tank can be designed as a horizontal cold storage tank or a closed cold storage tank according to the scene. Under normal circumstances, in the cold storage tank equipment with a diameter of no more than 4 meters, the volume from 20 cubic meters to 120 cubic meters can be installed on site after the work is completed. The cold storage tank equipment with a diameter of more than 4 meters needs to be produced on site according to the design drawings. The device form is shown in the figure below.
