In order to reduce the cold loss of the water cold storage pool and prevent the condensation on the surface of the cold storage pool caused by the cold loss. In order to prevent the temperature-generated stress from stretching and squeezing the material on the inner surface of the cold storage tank, the cold storage tank must be insulated and internally waterproofed. In order to prevent the thermal insulation material from affecting the performance of the thermal insulation material due to water absorption, and to prevent the water in the building from infiltrating the thermal insulation layer, there must be special requirements for the internal and external waterproof thermal insulation layers of the cold storage pool. The following is the practice of letting the pool stand for 24 hours, and the temperature of the pool water does not exceed 0.5 ℃.

1. Waterproof and thermal insulation practices for the bottom of the pool:

(1) Base treatment, apply 2mm thick JS organic waterproof paint.
(2) Use high molecular polymer cement waterproof mortar for leveling.
(3) 10mm thick polymer adhesive mortar
(4) 50mm thick closed-cell foamed polyurethane insulation layer or high-density XPS extruded insulation board layer.
(5) Two coats of polyurea sealing primer.
(6) 50mmC15 fine stone concrete protective layer (rebar φ4@200×200).
(7) 5mm thick polymer adhesive mortar.
(8) 2mm thick JS organic waterproof coating.
(9) 10mm thick high molecular polymer anti-cracking plastering waterproof mortar.


2. Waterproof and thermal insulation practices for pool walls, concrete columns, and tension beams:

(1) Base treatment, apply 2mm thick JS organic waterproof paint.
(2) Use high molecular polymer cement waterproof mortar for leveling.
(3) 10mm thick polymer adhesive mortar
(4) 100mm thick closed-cell foamed polyurethane insulation layer or high-density XPS extruded insulation board layer.
(5) 2mm thick JS organic waterproof coating.
(6) 10mm thick high molecular polymer anti-crack plastering waterproof mortar.
